Choosing this place for our second date was truly an excellent decision. The comfortable space, cozy table setting created an impressive ambiance. Each dish with its refined and unique flavors made every bite outstanding and unforgettable. Enjoying the unique cocktails added a romantic atmosphere, making our date even more wonderful and solidifying this venue as my favorite spot in Berlin.
Restaurant with good food.
We were there for dinner on a weekday. The restaurant was quite full, but we could still get a seat.
We ordered fish and lamb. Both dishes were very tasty, and the size was decent.
The service is okay, but not above average.
What is above average, however, are the prices. The prices are way too high and not understandable.
It was a good experience, but I would not consider going to this restaurant again.
A bit crowded in a smaller restaurant. Perhaps, reducing tables or increasing floor space would provide a more enjoyable experience.
We arrived at 6pm, which the service was excellent to begin with. From there the service got progressively worse with wait times and over 20 minutes from ask to bill receipt. Staff was friendly, it appeared just needed 1 or 2 more personnel.
Portions are smaller but nice. Quality of food is solid with unique ingredients and creations. Surf and Turf and eggplant tortelini for starters. For entrees, we had the octopus, pasta with lamb, and lamb chops. Good flavor but almost seemed too many ingredients on a few of the dishes.
Overall good experience but not great. Lacking a few things to obtain 5 stars.
Amazing food and relaxing atmosphere. The desert was mind blowing good, highly recommended!
The service was very friendly and fast. The dishes almost came a bit too fast. The mise en place in the kitchen must be very efficient. The bread and dip were quite tasty. The starter (surf and turf) was good but a bit too oily. The octopus was nice and does deserve the good reviews. It would benefit from a bit more acidity (like lemon).
The food was good but overpriced for the overall experience. The lamb chops are the highlight but 42€ is too much, beef tataki was tasteless and chewy. Main issue for us was the service: although the lady who welcomed us was very nice, the person who took care of our table was arrogant and passive aggressive. For a total bill of 160€ (3 people) this is frankly disappointing. I would suggest other places in Berlin for the same price range.
The 1-star rating is due to the unpleasant experience with the short-haired manager who allowed a couple with an unmuzzled Rottweiler to sit inside one table from us. Additionally, she assigned them a table for 6 because nobody wanted to be seated near such dog. The beef teriyaki, the flat bread and creme brule where great as well as the service but the table are definitely too small to be confortable.
Love the appetizers, top notch!
Lamb as the main dish was delicious, super juicy and tender, very soft that the meat falls off the bone easily. My friend ordered the seafood plate, also delicious!
Would give a 5 star rating if the dessert was as good as their appetizers and main courses!
